Community Groups

Community Groups gather for fellowship, prayer, and to study God’s Word.  They are a place where we have both the blessing and responsibility to be reflectors of mercy because we are recipients of mercy so that:

Community is created × Disciples are made × Missions are fostered
Works of service are accomplished × God is glorified

Community Groups foster the types of relationships that allow us to live out our faith for God’s glory and our good. We enter into these relationships not only for what we get out of them, but also for what we bring to them.

In our groups we:

    1. Love one another – John 13:34-25
    2. Speak the truth to one another – Eph. 4:15
    3. Show hospitality to one another – 1 Pet. 4:9-10
    4. Serve one another – Gal. 5:13
    5. Carry one another’s burdens – Gal. 6:2
    6. Encourage each other – 1 Thess. 4:18
    7. Build one another up – 1 Thess. 5:11
    8. Spur one another on to love and good deeds – Heb. 10:24
    9. Teach one another – Col. 3:16

The book of Acts says the believers “were of one heart and soul” and describes them as “day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their home” (Acts 2:46; 4:32).

We invite you to become a part of the “heart and soul” of life at Mercy and connect with a Community Group.
If you need help making that connection, please let us know!
